MISSION:

• To demonstrate leadership in the water utility industry.

• To support members through education, identification of new technologies, trends and applications.

• To provide accurate and reliable information critical to the reading, billing, installation and maintenance of meters and metering systems.

• To influence the meter industry in the development and implementation of metering systems.

 

OBJECTIVES:

• Assemble all interested utilities and individuals to share ideas, concerns and solutions related to water meter management topics.

• Collect and exchange technical and (pertinent) legislative information.

• Discuss meters, metering (billing), new meter-related products, and techniques.

• Convey common problems to manufacturers in the meter industry.

• Ensure that members of EMMA have the best metering knowledge possible to provide better service to their respective customers.

 

EMMA ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

• Informative meetings and briefings.

• Dissemination of articles regarding meters and meter-related products and technology.

• Hands-on demonstrations related to meter technology.

• Technical presentations and displays from manufacturers and consultants.

• Round-table discussions.
